2010 Surf Camps Were Amazing!!!

God really blessed the 15th year of Walking On Water Dream Surf Camps! The last day of camp we even had the rainbow seen in this photo. It was the best rainbow I have ever seen in California. It was a great reminder of God’s love and His promises! We hope to see you next summer at the Walking On Water Dream Surf Camps.
WOW World Tour Continues in Cayman Islands
The Walking On Water World tour continued with a screening of the film in Grand Cayman on May 12th. The W.O.W movie screening was part of the Do Something Cayman Festival, organized and put on by the Rock Church.
Almost 90 members of the Rock Church San Diego along with Pastor Miles McPherson –senior pastor and founder of Miles Ahead- traveled to the Cayman Islands where they spent seven days sharing their faith in word and deed by working alongside the Locals, helping complete a range of community service projects.
Bryan Jennings hosted the Motorcross demo at the Cayman Festival and shared the Gospel with the large crowd of locals who came to see the action sports demo and listen to the bands. Bryan and Pastor Miles also spoke in one of the local prisons together. “A highlight of my trip,” Bryan shares, “Was having the opportunity to speak to over four hundred High School students on their last day of school- where over three hundred students responded to the Gospel message.”
Also on the trip were BMX riders Vic Murphy, John Greer and Joey Hill as well as skater Jud Heald.
Unlike the United States, it is legal to share the full Gospel message in the public schools of the Cayman Islands. It was a very blessed trip and we hope to return for future mission trips. To see more photos and videos from the outreach please go to: http://www.dosomethingcayman.com/

Park City and Salt Lake City Screenings

We had a great turn out last night at the Park City double feature movie night! We were on the Park City T.V. show and also on the local radio. Dave Downing, Matt Beacham, and Joel Parker did a great job with the question and answer time after the movies. Tonight we are on our way to the Salt Lake City screening at the K2 Church.
W.O.W. Chile Mission Trip Update From The Field!
Friends, Please be praying for Todd and Renae as they lead our Walking On Water Mission Trip in Chile right now through Jan. 13th.

It has always surprised me over the years to see how God would only need one willing person in a city to make a outreach event happen. Some of our most successful outreach events were hosted by individuals who had never organized an event before. God is able to do the impossible! Walking On Water World Tour Continues in Mexico
In October of 2009 LivinIt Alliance member Walking On Water partnered with some local missionaries to help encourage over thirty local pastors and also host a outreach to the surfing/fishing village of Sayulita. Our team didn’t know what to expect as we set up the screen and chairs on the baseball field in the small community. We were very encouraged when over three hundred local children and adults showed up for the free prizes, screening of the Walking On Water surf movie, and to hear the Gospel message. Bryan Jennings, executive director of Walking On Water, shared the Gospel message with the crowd after the film. There were many first time decisions and re-commitments that night! The local missionary started a church the following Sunday which was the perfect way to follow up with the new believers!
WOW Europe Tour update so far
God has truly blessed this tour so far. We just finished the first two screenings in Hossegor, France and San Sebastian, Spain. Both screenings were held at the local bar/restaurants where the surfers spend most of their time out of the water. Both venues were packed out with standing room only. In Hossegor there was a great BBQ before the movie. Chris Parenty and his Christian Surfers France team did a great job setting everything up! The movie and message afterwards was very well received and we had some great conversations afterwards. We were all feeling a little nervous about the San Sebastian screening especially because it was right in the heart of the core surfing community and our team was not sure how the movie and message would be received. However God completely blessed the night in every way! The bar was completely full of not only locals but of students from eight different countries. They laughed and paid close attention to the entire movie. I talked to the crowd afterwards through Joseba our new friend and incredible interpreter. We shared how God wants a relationship with us, not a religion and how Jesus gave us a free gift when he died in our place. Our team was pleasantly surprised to see that the crowd was very receptive to the message! They really appreciated the movie and the message that came in a fresh loving way with no strings attached. God had the victory! We are now off to Durango and Gijon, Spain for the last two outreaches. I will be doing a TV interview tomorrow before the Gijon screening. Thank you for praying and please continue! God is so amazing and working powerfully all over the world!
