Walking on Water Hawaii Trip

Walking On Water Supporters,
I wanted to let you know about an amazing opportunity you and your family have to support Walking On Water and go to Honolulu, Hawaii for a special weekend with Soul Surfer stars Bethany Hamilton and Sonya Balmores. This will be a fundraiser for our 17th annual Walking On Water Dream Surf Camps. Each year we have many students who can not afford the camp and need a scholarship. My hope is to find 15 families who will make a donation of at least $1,000 to support the Walking On Water Surf Camps. As a thank you for this donation we would like to invite you and your son or daughter or your entire family to this fun weekend in Hawaii. You will be responsible to pay for your travel expenses including airfare, hotel, and rental car. We will provide the surf equipment, surf lessons, very special guests, and movie night.

“Promised Land” Israel Premiere!
Bryan Jennings sent us the following update on their new movie, “Promised Land”… we’re thrilled for them!
Walking On Water Friends,
The world premiere of our latest film Promised Land was held on January 1st 2012 in Ashdod, Israel to a 99% Jewish crowd. The theater was packed out and the mayor came as a special guest. He had watched the movie prior and loved it. Todd and Renae were almost in tears as everyone came up to them afterwards to thank them. Please see the photos attached.
Please be praying for the next four screenings over the next 5 days in Israel.
The Orange County Premiere will be on February 3rd and the San Diego premiere will be on February 4th.

This past week I was invited to speak at a huge event in New England called Overtime. Even though many gave their lives to Jesus, I feel that every time I’m in front of people speaking, that I minister out of my weakness.
When Moses objected to God at the burning bush, that he was a clumsy speaker, God did not disagree with him. The Lord did not say “Not true, Moses, I’ve heard you speak and you inspire me! You’re going places as a preacher!” God said “I will be with your mouth and teach you what you are to speak” (EX 4:12).
Be faithful with what God has called you to do.

Walking on Water Update: Bethany at the Harvest Crusade

Last week after surfing Lowers with Bethany in the morning I went to check my email and happened to see an email from the Harvest Crusade. I was reminded
that the Harvest Crusade was in a few days and I remembered that Greg Laurie had asked me to invite Bethany Hamilton to be a special guest months earlier. Bethany had declined the invitation because of her sister in law’s baby due date. However Bethany ended up being in town so I asked Bethany again and she agreed. Two days later Bethany, Matt Beacham, and I were in the Angels Stadium dug out and Bethany was about to speak to 31,000 people. It was amazing and Bethany did a great job sharing her faith!
